Hey Clubbies,
Meetup #2 is in the books, and these keep getting more fun. The timing couldn’t be better either. The Club Soda Club app is heading to the App Store next week (more on that below).
About 30 of you joined us on the balcony at General Provision Monday night. Thank you. Giving up a Monday night to hang out with a bunch of club soda drinkers? That’s commitment. And if you wanted to be there but life got in the way, we’ll save you a glass for next time.
My favorite part? Old friends and brand new faces ending up in the same conversations. Nobody needed liquid courage to say hi.

Powered by Q Mixers
A big thank you to Q for keeping our events stacked with the best club soda and ginger ale on the planet. It was an open bar, all-you-can-drink affair and everyone loved it.
The Cranberry Pomegranate Spritz was the surprise hit. As I’ve been saying all along… ginger ale, cola, tonic, etc. it’s ALL club soda. However you choose to drink differently is up to you.
Everyone went home with a swag bag: a Q vessel, notebook, keychain, coasters and a few CSC stickers.

Two for two
Cleveland wasn’t beginner’s luck. Fort Lauderdale brought the same energy on another Monday night. Two meetups in, this is starting to feel less like an event and more like a habit.
Thank you to General Provision for the balcony and to all of you for making a Monday feel like a Friday.
And a huge thank you to the crew who helped before, during, and after the event. I couldn’t have pulled this off without you.

Event crew: Holly, me, Julian the intern and Toryano, after everything was loaded in the cars.
The app is (almost) here
After a closed beta with about 50 members, the CSC app is ready to be submitted to the App Store.
The concept is simple. Walk into a bar, start a session, and log every club soda or non-alcohol alternative you order. The app does the math on what those drinks would’ve cost and stacks it up as money saved. Think of it as a bar tab that works in your favor.

Then there’s the Discovery tab. It’s a map of the bars and restaurants where members are logging sessions, so you know where your people hang out before you even walk in. Tap any spot to see how many sessions have been logged there and whether the club soda’s on the house. Traveling, or just tired of the same three bars? Start there.

Next up is Dry January. The team is building a community challenge where new and existing members track skipped drinks and money saved together. Full-time or part-time, everyone’s in. It’s a lot easier to stick with something when the whole club is doing it with you.
One more thing. We’re cooking up something called Rewards. Can’t say much yet. Let’s just say the money you save might not be the only thing you earn.
So, your turn. If skipping a drink could earn you one thing, what would it be? Hit reply and tell me. Your answers will help shape what we build.
Stay Sparkling,
Sorin

Episode #45 - Mallorie Nuttall
Mallorie Nuttall has been part of the Club Soda Club for four years. In this episode, she talks about the final night in a long line of them, why quitting at the end of a breakup reshaped her whole social world, and the real challenge nobody warns you about — learning how to socialize, date, and dance without alcohol. Her closing thought on why she never gives advice is one of the best things said on this show.
Join the Club Soda Club referral program
Know someone who's thinking about it? There's no membership requirement.
Part-time members, full-time members, "I'm just curious" members. All welcome. So whether you've got a friend who's been saying "I should probably cut back" every Sunday morning for the last six months, or a friend who's already all-in on the alcohol-free life and just hasn't found their people yet — send them your link. They subscribe to the free newsletter, you both win. No pressure, no program, no weird pamphlets.
Basically, if they've ever ordered a club soda (or anything else alcohol-free) and felt like they had to explain themselves... they're already one of us.
